- Own and support export/import licensing and compliance activities within Raytheon’s Naval Power business
- Develop export/import strategies for international capture, program and supply chain efforts
- Prepare and submit export/import license applications, agreements, exemptions/exceptions and other requests for U.S. Government approval
- Provide authorization status updates to leadership and capture/program teams
- Participate in strategic business engagement at the program level
- Interpret ITAR and EAR for Naval Power employees
- Facilitate physical export/import approvals for hardware and other transactional activities involving controlled goods, information and services
- Determine and certify appropriate legal authority and export authorization, exemption or exception
- Represent Global Trade with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with company procedures and instructions supporting U.S. Government export/import regulations and company policy
- Participate in compliance assessments and investigations
- Develop and deliver training for employees engaged in international business activities
- Review and approve technical and non-technical information before release to non-U.S. Persons
- Act as a resource for entry-level Global Trade personnel
- Collaborate with multiple business functions in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- Experience researching and/or applying ITAR and EAR regulations
- Experience applying for, managing, and transacting against ITAR and EAR export authorizations
- Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, SAP-GT, OCR EASE or similar Global Trade tools and/or systems
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
- Minimal domestic travel, approximately once per quarter
Demonstrates expertise in export/import licensing and compliance, with a strong understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations. Capable of developing strategies for international business activities and providing training to employees on compliance matters.
