A friendly family in Chestnut Hill, MA is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny to care for their toddler. They are looking for a nurturing, engaging caregiver who enjoys creating enriching experiences, encouraging development through play, and building a strong, trusting relationship with a young child.

The family values a gentle, respectful approach to caregiving and is hoping to find someone who will become a consistent, long-term presence in their child's life. They would also love to find a nanny who is comfortable caring for infants, as they hope to grow their family in the future.

• At least 21 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional childcare experience required
• Prior toddler experience required;
• Current CPR / First Aid certification
• Non-smoker
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
• Up to date on all routine vaccinations, including covid, flu and Tdap

• Provide attentive, loving care for one toddler
• Plan engaging activities and outings
• Prepare the child's meals and snacks
• Clean up after meals and activities
• Take child to parks, libraries, classes, and other local outings
• Keep child's spaces organized
• Complete the child's laundry and other light child-related household tasks
• Communicate openly with the family about the child's day

Both parents currently work from home in separate work spaces and respect the nanny's independence throughout the day. A caregiver who is familiar with gentle parenting and enjoys fostering a calm, loving environment will be an excellent fit for this family.

Location: Chestnut Hill, MA

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-4:15 PM, and Friday, 7:30 AM-12:30 PM.

Hours:

40 hours per week

(open to less hours for the right fit if that is the candidate's preference)

Start Date: ASAP

Hourly Rate: $33-$36/hour, based on experience; taxes withheld

Vacation: 2 weeks paid

Sick Time: 1 week paid
