Dispatch Assistant Towing

Job Description

We have a need for a dispatch assistant for our tow facility. We are looking to fill an immediate need for a full-time position (that includes some holidays and weekends).

• Dispatching and routing of tow service calls with custom towing software program; following up on scheduled tow service calls
• Releasing vehicles to customers, salvage companies, body shops
• Assisting customers and insurance representatives
• Accounts receivable
• Other administrative and shop tasks

• Tow industry and regulation compliance knowledge
• DOT regulation compliance knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to function well under pressure and ability to deal with difficult situations while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Solid working knowledge of MS Office
• Multitasking skills
• Living locally is a plus

• Full‑time position; some holidays and weekends
• Excellent phone and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to do multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to defuse high‑tempered individuals and situations
• Lifting items over 25 lbs

Pay structure will be commensurate with experience.
