The Teller will assist customers with various banking needs, process transactions, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of accuracy and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Handle cash, maintain accurate cash drawer balances, and support cash audits.
- Adhere to bank policies, compliance, and risk management protocols to prevent fraud.
- Identify cross‑sell opportunities and promote bank products to deepen customer relationships.
- Leverage digital tools to educate customers on self‑service options.
- Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and create a welcoming environment.
- Support nearby branch locations as business needs arise.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 months cash handling experience.
- Minimum 6 months customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to identify and raise concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
- Energetic, organized, and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- High attention to accuracy and detail.
- Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
- Availability for branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- No certifications required for this position.
- Established work history through work experience, training, military service, or education.
- Preferred Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Spanish language preference.
Base Pay Range:
Minimum $30,000.00 USD – Maximum $47,000.00 USD (annualized). This range is based on a 40‑hour work week and may vary by skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.
