Dental Assistant Paid Training

Health First Family Care Center, Inc. is offering a full‑time, in‑person paid Dental Assistant training program. The program provides classroom and clinical training and includes a 10‑week paid course and a 6‑month paid internship. Upon acceptance students sign a 2‑year work commitment. Candidates must submit a resume plus a brief statement describing why they want to become a dental assistant.

Successful completion of the program and internship does not guarantee employment.

Mon–Fri 8:00 am–4:30 pm

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Resume with statement explaining interest in becoming a dental assistant
• Provide 3 references and a clean background check

• High level of customer service and positive approach to patient care
• Organized work area and collaborative teamwork
• Excellent oral and written communication and time‑management skills
• Handles confidential information in accordance with HIPAA
• Work well under pressure to manage stressful situations
• Uses sound judgment and displays confidence
• Multi‑tasking ability
• Detail‑oriented and accurate
• Can sit at a computer for extended periods
