Overview
Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced medical team within a growing federally qualified community health center. Health First Family Care Center, Inc. “The Heart of Our Community” provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care. We are seeking a motivated, Full Time Dental Assistant (38 hours per week) who enjoys working with culturally diverse children and families in providing comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist the Dentist during dental examinations and procedures.
- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Perform dental radiology and record treatment information in patient records.
8:00am – 6:00pm, four days a week. Rotating Saturdays 9:00am – 1:00pm.
PayPay Range: $24.28 – $28.84 per hour. This represents Health First’s good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and budget considerations.

- Successful completion of Dental Assistant program at an accredited institution
- Massachusetts Dental Assistant license is required
- Community health or dental background preferred
- Bilingual (English, Spanish/Portuguese) preferred
- Must submit CORI and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information
- High level of customer service and a positive approach to work with patients; promote a positive experience in the department and health center
- Ability to maintain an organized work area and collaborate as a team member
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and time management
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner in accordance with HIPAA
