Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system with four hospitals and 80+ practices in western Massachusetts. Baystate Children’s Hospital is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with subspecialists across 15 pediatric divisions. Our 107‑bed facility includes the region’s only PICU and level III NICU, as well as a designated 24‑hour pediatric ED and outpatient specialty services.
Position Highlights- Join our team of 3 pediatric hematologist‑oncologists and 1 APP in our mission of providing exemplary patient‑centered care to children with the full spectrum of hem/onc disorders.
- Our state‑of‑the‑art facility includes a 45‑bed unit with great access to pediatric hospitalists and a wide range of pediatric subspecialists. All inpatients are covered by resident services.
- Serve as a clinical educator for medical students, pediatric and med/ped residents, and APP students with a faculty appointment to UMass‑Chan Medical School – Baystate.
- Our division is a full member of the Children’s Oncology Group and we encourage participation in scholarship including clinical, QI and outcomes‑based research.
- This is a 0.75 FTE position that qualifies for a great benefits package.
- Qualifications:
ABMS BE/BC pediatric hem/onc. Excellent mentorship available. - Compensation consists of a base salary between $205,000 and $278,000 (based on 1.0 FTE, experience level and qualifications) and annual incentive bonus opportunities.
