Overview

Medical Oncologist – Full‑time position.

Shift: Day – weekend, holiday, on‑call, with hospital on‑call rotation including weekends & holidays.

Location:

Fairhaven & Fall River, MA.

The role involves diagnosing and treating cancers with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, developing and monitoring personalized treatment plans, and providing supportive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat cancers using therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments while developing and monitoring personalized treatment plans and addressing side effects, providing supportive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons and radiation oncologists, to provide holistic care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and referring physicians regarding care plans and progress.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification/eligibility in Medical Oncology with completion of a U.S. residency.
  • Current state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.
