Locum Jobs Online is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Psych - Geriatric MD in Everett, Massachusetts, 02149!
We are seeking a Board-Certified Adult/Geriatric Psychiatrist for a locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity to provide inpatient psychiatric care in a supportive hospital-based setting with a collaborative physician team.
Assignment Details:
- Specialty: Adult/Geriatric Inpatient Psychiatry
- Location: Massachusetts
- Start Date: September 9, 2026
- End Date: December 11, 2026 (with potential for extension and future coverage opportunities)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Call: No call requirement
- Patient Volume: Up to 8 patients per day
- Unit Size: 22-bed inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit
- Average Census: 18–30 patients
- EMR: Epic (training provided prior to start)
Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts medical license required
- Board Certification required
- MD degree required
- Experience with Adult and/or Geriatric Inpatient Psychiatry preferred
- Flu vaccination required (no waivers or exceptions)
This is a great opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for a consistent inpatient schedule with no call responsibilities and the possibility of ongoing coverage
