Courses may be offered in online, hybrid, or face-to-face modalities in Fall River,
Attleboro, New Bedford, and/or Taunton.

Academic Year 2027 (Fall Semester, 2026)
SALARY
: $57,289 - $74,369 - actual salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and
consistent with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
STATEMENT OF DUTIES
:
The FT Faculty:
Electrical Engineering position is a tenure-rack position that will teach a full-time (15 credit hours per semester) schedule of Electrical Engineering (circuits, power, controls, signal processing, etc.) and potentially electronics (analog/digital electronics, microcontrollers, PCB design, etc.) courses. The list of courses will include, but are not limited to, the list found online in our Academic Catalog ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).). This position also develops curriculum/course material for the Associate in Science in Engineering Technology (Electrical) Program and offers student support through varied interactions.

Full-Time faculty will engage in a critical role in the teaching and learning process, contributing to student learning outcomes and success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach a full-time (15 credit hours per semester) schedule of courses in the Engineering Department.
- Facilitate hands-on laboratory experiences with students.
- Develop and revise Electrical Engineering curriculum to align with employer demand, transfer institutions, and industry standards.
- Support the development of certificates, micro credentials, and experiential learning opportunities.
- Work with regional employers, workforce boards, and transfer institutions to ensure program relevance.
- Assist with grant writing, administration, and reporting to support innovation and student opportunities.
- Assess student learning and assign grades through equitable and inclusive pedagogies and assessment strategies.
- Complete required trainings such as, but not limited to, Title IX, FERPA, and Information Security.
- Teach in face-to-face as well as hybrid, and online modalities.
- Adhere to workload as specified in the Collective Bargaining Agreement, including duties such as, but not limited to, developing curricula to address course and student learning outcomes and General Education competencies as appropriate, completing book orders, creating syllabi, verifying student enrollment, and submitting final grades by the contractual deadline. Foster student success across the college's diverse student body, and address equity gaps, through innovative teaching and learning approaches as well as curriculum development.
Incorporate High-Impact Practices (HIPs) into curricular and pedagogical approaches, with emphasis on HIPs that provide students with real-world experiences such as Service-Learning and internship opportunities. - Serve as academic advisor to assigned students.
- Post and maintain a minimum of four (4) office hours per week.
