8. Founded in 1901 by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, the school has educated generations of local families. Position Overview

Saint Columbkille Partnership School is currently seeking a full‑time middle school English language arts teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement engaging and effective lessons aligned with Massachusetts state standards for English language arts and literacy.
  • Use formative and summative assessments, including NWEA MAP, to determine students’ mastery of objectives.
  • Understand and support the unique strengths and needs of each student.
  • Use the FACTS student information system for attendance, grading and communication.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress.
  • Collaborate with the middle school team, academic coaches, student support team, and school leadership.
  • Advance the mission of the school through active participation in a faculty committee.
  • Support the faith formation of students and accompany them in faith formation experiences.
  • Create a safe and joyful learning environment.
  • Contribute to the school’s positive, welcoming culture.
Qualifications
  • Commitment to the school’s Catholic mission and identity.
  • Licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Ability to use instructional technology.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience as a teacher of English language arts.
Compensation

The compensation range for this role is $44,000–$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity.
