Interventionist Teacher 26/27 School Year

Atlantis Charter School – Grades K-6, Fall River, Massachusetts.

Position supports Grades 3-6 Literacy, may support other grades/subjects K-6 as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education required.
• Valid Massachusetts teaching license or eligibility to obtain within one year.
• At least one year of teaching experience preferred.
• Experience developing curriculum and engaging lesson plans preferred.
• Proficient with technology (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, online instructional websites).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

• Develop and provide individual or small group instruction for students needing additional academic support.
• Monitor, report, and communicate student progress and performance.
• Adhere to MA curriculum frameworks and ACS curriculum, ensuring lessons align with learning standards.
• Create well-planned intervention lessons with clear objectives tied to learning standards.
• Adjust lesson plans to meet individual student needs and use technology to monitor student progress.
• Engage students in all aspects of lessons, use formative assessment data to inform instruction, and model differentiation.
• Collaborate with content coordinators and instructional staff to support program development and provide input for program improvement.
• Maintain data-driven documentation and use assessment data to drive instruction and provide feedback to students.
• Participate in professional development and support school-wide protocols and rituals.

Competitive salary $50,500 to $95,000 per year; full-time position; full benefits package per school policy.
