Overview
The Assistant/Associate Director, Belonging & Inclusion for Spiritual life plays a key role in fostering a welcoming and inclusive campus culture for undergraduate and graduate students, supporting the spiritual and religious needs and well‑being of our diverse student body and intentionally promoting inclusion, religious pluralism, and equity. Specifically responsible for supervising a multi-faith team of chaplains and advising student‑led faith groups;
providing a courageous and contemplative space for discussion and reflection; and actively promoting holistic development and spiritual well‑being.

This is an exempt position with the following pay range:
For candidates considered at the Associate Director level $76,326 - $84,807 and for candidates considered at the Assistant Director level $64,877-$72,086; the role is also eligible for bonuses based on performance and budget.

- Supervise, and support a staff ofpart timemulti-faith Chaplains who provide spiritual care andguidanceto students of all faith traditions including those who do not identify with one faith tradition; lead weekly/bi-weekly chaplain meetings,holdone-on-one meetings, and team‑building opportunities. Provide weekly Chaplain team update to Senior Director/College Chaplain.
- Advise faith‑based student clubs, manage their annual recognition and religious inclusion and tolerance process, develop semester trainings that focus on but not are limited to identity intersectionality, leadership and influence, interfaith exchange, community building, and spiritual action to empower students towards social change and impact.
- Assist College Chaplain/Senior Director with designing framework and learning model for spiritual life; create newlearningopportunities for students that focus on (but not limited to) identity development, spiritual formation, inter‑ religious intersections, pluralism and reflection. Build relationship with students, being a visible and accessible presence that students can reach out to and connect.
- Manage and coordinate religious and spiritual weekly program led by Chaplains and student groups (e.g., Chapel services, Jumuah, Shabbat, Mass, Aarti and Dinner, etc.) ensuring consistent execution and clear communication; lead and execute special campus events (e.g., Leap of Faith week and Faith Matters); coordinate, along with Chaplains, religious holidays celebrated on campus; and update annual religious academic calendar.
- Serve as a facilitator for the Office of Belonging & Inclusion for several campus events such as Orientation, Student Leadership Academy, and Inclusive Excellence Summit. Work with Babson Dining to support students in religious dining accommodations.
- In partnership with the Senior Director, develop, plan, and execute spiritual gatherings including but not limited to Care Tableand Peace Circles. Coordinate Chaplain team campus schedule and availability to co‑lead in campus offerings.
