Job Description
Minimum 1+ years deaf & hard of hearing experience required.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher
Location: Beverly, MA
Position Type: Full-time
Responsibilities- Provide direct instruction to hearing-impaired students.
- Develop and implement IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers and families for necessary accommodations.
- Use specialized instructional techniques and materials.
- Facilitate communication between students and staff.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
- Advocate for hearing-impaired students.
- Provide training on effective communication strategies.
- Bachelors degree in Deaf Education or related field;
Masters preferred. - Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Experience with hearing-impaired students.
- Proficiency in ASL and other communication methods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
