Join a School Team Making a DifferenceWe are seeking licensed Special Education Teachers to support students across K-12 grade levels in the Fall River, MA area for the school year. These school-based positions offer the opportunity to work within a variety of specialized programs designed to support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.

What You'll Do- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to each student's learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and paraprofessionals
- Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation and compliance records
- Support student access to the general education curriculum whenever appropriate
- Create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success
Assignments will be based on your experience, licensure, and the needs of the district. Opportunities are available across a variety of special education classrooms and support programs serving K-12 students.
Required Qualifications- Active Massachusetts DESE Special Education Teacher License Required
- Prior school-based special education teaching experience
- Experience working with students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
- Full-time school-year schedule
- 32.5-35 hours per week
- Start date:
August 24, 2026 - $60-$65/hr based on experience

Candidates must hold an active Massachusetts DESE Special Education teaching license to be considered for these opportunities.
The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
- Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
- Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
- State Teacher Certification;
