Special Education Teacher
Location: Lawrence, MA area
Employer: Soliant Education
Position: Full Time Special Education Teacher in an Elementary Setting
Duration: Immediate start through the end of the academic year with possible renewal opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students with Individual Education Programs (IEPs) in grades 5-8
- Deliver high expectations for achievement, ensuring equal access to high levels of instruction
- Aim for the achievement of academic proficiency for all students
- Work towards closing the achievement gap among subgroups within the schools
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Teaching license in Moderate Disabilities PK-8 with SEI Endorsement
- Additional content area license is encouraged
