Title 21st CCLC After School Program Teacher

Description FALL RIVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Background:

The 21 st CCLC program is recruiting teachers/practitioners to work for the 2025-26 school year.

The program provides after school enrichment and academic support to eligible students. It focuses on improving student achievement through experiential learning and community-service learning. Examples of activities include, but are not limited to, music, robotics, culinary arts, art, theater, and physical fitness.

The program will run from October 05, 2026
- June 10, 2027. The program runs for two hours starting at the end of the school day, Mondays-Thursdays. Teachers may work part-time (2 afternoons per week) or all four days.

Position: OST Highly Qualified Teacher/Highly Qualified Practitioner

Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:

  • Designing and implementing enrichment activities that embed the Massachusetts Frameworks and promote 21 st century learning outcomes
  • Completing SAYO (Survey of Youth Outcomes) forms
  • Assisting students with homework
  • Communicating with school day classroom teachers
  • Participating in professional development opportunities

Salary: $42.00/hour

Reports to:

Site Coordinator/Lead Teacher and/or Program Director

Contingent upon Fall River School Committee approval and the availability of funds
