School Psychologist; High School

• Support students' learning, social development, and mental and behavioral health through problem solving, assessment, data-based decision-making, and evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate and consult with administration, educators, families, staff, and outside community agencies to coordinate effective student support
• Help create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for all students
• Carry out the work of the role in alignment with Argosy Collegiate School Board of Trustees policies regarding equity, human rights, and cross-cultural understandings

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced degree from an accredited college
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a valid School Psychologist license/certificate issued by Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
• At least three years of experience in school psychology in an urban school setting (preferred)
• Membership with the National Association of School Psychology (NASP) (preferred)
• Possess strong skills in oral and written communication, consultation, and collaboration. Oral and written communication is required for sharing information with staff and parents
• Computer processing and data entry are required for this position. Familiarity with Q-Global, Q-Interactive, and MHS Assessments (preferred)
• Visual acuity and hearing are required for the delivery of assessment, intervention, and consultation services
• Occasional lifting of materials and equipment of less than 25 pounds
• Eligible to work in the United States
