Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integrated Logistic Support Test Manager for our Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUVs) product line. The ideal candidate will have advanced troubleshooting skills, a strong background in electrical troubleshooting and repair, and the ability to mentor other field/test/customer support engineers. This position requires extensive work on the water for testing, travel for test events and training, and a collaborative approach to managing field operations.

The role also encompasses Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), including the development and maintenance of customer support and operational technical manuals.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee and manage field testing operations for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).
  • Conduct on‑water testing to validate AUV performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.
  • Travel to various locations for test events, training sessions, and customer support activities.
  • Use advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair AUV systems, including electrical components.
  • Mentor and train field/test/customer support engineers in AUV operations, providing guidance on electrical/software troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring thorough testing and documentation of results.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during field operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on test results, maintenance activities, and any identified issues.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and engineering teams, providing technical support and addressing customer concerns.
  • Provide coordination between other Engineering Disciplines, Operations and Program Managers.
  • Prepare, deliver, and explain technical troubleshooting and issue findings to customers with little to no oversight or functional support.
  • Plan, attend, and execute complex at‑sea test evolutions involving multiple vessels, organizations, and team members.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and have the capability to resolve them with little to no oversight or functional support.
  • Support the technical team in hands‑on troubleshooting and repairs efforts, including but not limited to vehicle disassembly and assembly, soldering, PCB replacement, connector replacement or repair, log review and data analysis.
  • Handle physically demanding tasks and operate in challenging environments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Travel for test events, training, and customer support activities up to 25% (U.S. and International).
Qualifications
