Materials Quality Engineer – Electrical Components
We are working with a rapidly growing organisation that manufactures highly technical products and is expanding its quality team. As part of this growth, they are seeking a Materials Quality Engineer with a strong focus on electrical components to support ongoing product development, manufacturing and production excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of materials used within electrical assemblies. You will work closely with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high standards across the supply chain.
Key responsibilities include investigating material and component failures, leading root cause analysis, supporting supplier quality and selection activities, and ensuring materials meet required specifications and regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in evaluating and onboarding suppliers, improving supplier performance, reducing defects, and enhancing overall product quality.
The ideal candidate will have experience in materials or component quality within a technical manufacturing environment, along with a solid understanding of electrical components. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross‑functionally are essential.
