Project Management Transmission​/Substation

We are seeking a Project Management Transmission /Substation professional for a 1‑year W‑2 contract assignment.

Manage the Early Stage (ES) process for High Voltage Transmission and Substation projects, coordinating Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, and Construction resources through pre‑construction activities.

Location:

Juno Beach, FL.

• Critical coordination of project activities such as Budget, Schedule, Procurement, Engineering, Permitting, and Land.
• Ensure each project is ready for handover to the construction PM with a complete construction plan, including schedule, budget, permits, risks and mitigations.
• Lead a team of project managers and manage the portfolio for the assigned region.
• Assist in developing project plans focusing on scope, constructability, schedule, and costs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Development, Land, Environmental, Procurement, Legal, Engineering, Operations, and Interconnection support.
• Prepare Request for Proposal documentation to competitively source, select, and contract geotechnical, survey, engineering, material, equipment, and construction services.
• Support the cost estimating team with assumptions and deliver financial model inputs.
• Own the budget and ensure the project remains on budget.
• Manage the project schedule and communicate key risks to management.
• Represent E&C’s interests on assigned projects, including presentations on progress, issues, and risk mitigation in meetings with multiple levels of management.
• This position does not include site‑based construction management.
• Current portfolio of projects spans the US and Canada.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in project management.
• PMP certification is helpful.
• Experience with large‑scale high‑voltage transmission and substation projects with solid business/commercial experience.
• Experience leading direct reports.
• Experience managing multiple projects over $100 MM.

• Base salary range: $40.00/hr to $45.00/hr (dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills).
