Job Summary
Our Client, a premier innovator in automated storage and conveyor equipment, seeks a Mechanical Applications Engineer & Estimator in the greater Cincinnati, OH area. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, material handling expertise, and estimating skills. The role involves working with sales and design engineering teams to build cutting‑edge machinery solutions for the medical, pharmaceutical, electronics, specialty foods, chemical, and cosmetics manufacturing industries.

Bachelor’s degree
- Evaluate customer workflows and space constraints to design optimized, space‑efficient and cost‑effective automated storage systems.
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates covering equipment, installation, freight, and engineering.
- Partner with the sales team to create detailed proposal packages and present tailored technical solutions to customers.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with software, manufacturing, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure project feasibility and smooth handoffs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
