Job Title:
New Product Introduction (NPI) Project Manager
Location: NJ
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced NPI Project Manager to lead the execution of new product development initiatives from concept through commercialization. This role will partner closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure successful product launches while maintaining compliance, quality, and timeline objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within regulated industries such as OTC pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or consumer healthcare products.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through commercial launch.
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestone tracking using MS Project.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial stakeholders.
- Drive execution of product changes such as reformulations, packaging updates, label changes, and specification modifications.
- Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Support regulatory submissions and ensure project timelines align with approval requirements.
- Monitor project deliverables and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Manage competing priorities and accelerate timelines while maintaining project objectives.
- Utilize data-driven decision‑making to resolve project challenges and drive successful outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of project management experience within New Product Introduction (NPI), Product Development, or Innovation programs.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end product launches from concept through commercialization in a regulated industry (OTC, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Consumer Health).
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, and Commercial functions.
- Hands‑on experience with product changes including reformulations, packaging updates, specification changes, and label modifications.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project and project planning tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience supporting regulatory submissions, approvals, and timeline alignment.
- Background in consumer health, self‑care, or OTC product environments.
- Experience managing accelerated launch timelines and high‑priority product initiatives.
- PMP certification preferred.
