We're looking for a Project Management Transmission /Substation on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). You will manage the Early Stage (ES) process for High Voltage Transmission and Substation projects.

• Critical coordination of project activities such as Budget, Schedule, Procurement, Engineering, Permitting, and Land.
• Ensure each project is ready to be turned over to the construction PM with an executable construction plan.
• Lead a team of project managers and manage the portfolio for a given region.
• Assist in the development of project plans emphasizing scope, constructability, schedule, and costs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including Development, Land, Environmental, Procurement, Legal, Engineering, Operations, and Interconnection support.
• Prepare Request for Proposal documentation to source, select, and contract services.
• Support the cost estimating team with assumptions and deliver financial model inputs.
• Own the budget and ensure the project stays on budget.
• Manage the project schedule and communicate key risks to management.
• Represent the E&C's interest on assigned projects through presentations and briefings.
• Not responsible for site-based construction management.
• Current portfolio of projects spans the US and Canada.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience.
• PMP certification is helpful.
• Experience with large-scale high voltage transmission and substation projects.
• Experience leading direct reports.
• Experience managing multiple projects exceeding $100 million.

The base salary range for this position is estimated to be $40.00/hr to $45.00/hr.
