RN for MED/SURG-Palliative CareUP TO $9,600 NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS!
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA
Hours: 32 hrs, with Benefits
Shift: EVE, 3:00pm - 11:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation
Looking for:- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Three (3) months experience preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt by signing a statement certifying that you are choosing to be exempt.
Atwood 5 specializes in the care of Oncology and Palliative Care patients. Oncology Care is provided in collaboration with the Center for Cancer Care for patients requiring chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Chemotherapy is administered by specially trained certified nurses. The focus of Palliative Care is on achieving comfort, improving quality of life, and providing support for patients and their caregivers. This department provides a wonderful foundation for solidifying your RN skills that lead to many career opportunities at Southcoast!

ResponsibilitiesUnder direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
CompensationPay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
