Do you enjoy helping children and their families achieve their goals while working as part of a flexible and highly supportive clinical team? Family Service Association has a full time (40 hours per week) opportunity as a Clinician in our In-Home Therapy Program.
The annual starting rate is $59,446 per year with the expectation of 28 billable hours per week with an incentive rate for exceeding billable hours. The typical hours for this position are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with some flexibility. This schedule would change as needed based on client’s clinical needs.
Clinicians are fully remote once trained; however, services are delivered in person in the greater Fall River and New Bedford communities. Supervision and staff meetings will be conducted in person. Applicants must have a good driving record, have access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance.
Duties and Responsibilities- Providing intensive in-home family therapy to youth who meet criteria for a serious emotional disturbance as evidenced by CANS assessment.
- Working on the development of a treatment plan and using established therapeutic techniques and intensive family therapy, with the entire family or a subset, to implement focused structural or strategic interventions and behavioral techniques.
- Designing goals to enhance problem solving, limit‑setting, risk management/safety planning, communication, build skills to strengthen the family, advance therapeutic goals, or improve ineffective patterns of interaction, identify and utilize community resources, develop and maintain natural supports for the youth and parents/caregivers in order to promote sustainability of treatment gains.
- The IHT team employs and adheres by wraparound principles to ensure families lead their treatment goals and vision.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited school, with the degree being on the CBHI list of approved degrees.
- Successful candidate must either be a Master’s level therapist or in their second year (currently completing their internship) of a Master’s Program with a clinical track.
- Supervision toward licensure available from seasoned LICSW and LMHC supervisors.
- Must be certified in the Massachusetts CANS (can be obtained post‑hire if necessary).
- Experience working with children and families.
- Must have the skills necessary to engage and work with others from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be willing to work with SED populations.
- Experience navigating child/family‑serving systems and advocating for family members involved with behavioral health systems.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Word, and familiarity with electronic health records.
