Clinician

Overview

Exciting opportunity exists for a Clinician in the Adolescent Therapeutic Day Program in Fall River! Seeking a creative and team orientated professional who is passionate about assisting youth in managing mental health needs and achieving treatment goals.

• The clinician will be responsible for the provision of direct services to each adolescent client on assigned case load including the development and review of a comprehensive treatment plan for each youth.
• Participation in daily groups
• Maintain consistent phone contact with parents, guardians and collaterals, and complete monthly outreach with youth and family
• Bi-weekly treatment consults with individual youth members, and attendance at their care plan or other treatment meetings
• Attend staff meetings, review meetings with state agency, and local community human services provider meetings
• Provide crisis management to clients

• Masters in Human Services or Social Work or related field, License eligible preferred.
• Experience working with adolescent and/or young adult population
• Knowledge of adolescent development, mental health interventions and implementing treatement plans preferred
• Excellent communication - written and verbal
• Organization and interpersonal skills
• Must have a current valid driver's license and clean driving record as the position requires travel
• Possess basic computer skills for purpose of data entry and word processing
