American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an outpatient hand and neuro rehab setting, requiring a valid MA OT license and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Details- Outpatient occupational therapy setting specializing in hand and neuro rehabilitation
- Variable weekly schedule:
Mon/Wed 9:00am–5:30pm, Tue/Fri 8:00am–4:30pm, Thu 8:30am–5:00pm - 13-week contract
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Valid MA OT license required; conditional licenses not accepted (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required;
Red Cross not accepted for this location - Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required; MS or Doctorate preferred
- Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Provide individualized patient care focused on optimizing physical, functional, psychological, social, and emotional well‑being
- Reports to the Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Services under clinical supervision of Level II Therapists
- Time keeping managed through UKG/Kronos
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but subject to a reduced pay rate
- Parking is not validated at this location; public parking is available at candidate's expense, and public transportation is recommended
