Direct Care Professionals - Full Time/Evenings

Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour
$21.00 / hour (after one year of benefit eligible employment)

Part‑time, Full‑time, Relief/Per Diem. 2nd and 3rd shifts available.

Openings in Mansfield, Taunton, Fall River and surrounding areas.

• Be a compassionate person who enjoys making a difference in someone’s life
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• Valid driver’s license; use of your personal vehicle
• A TB screening and physical are required upon hire and a TB update every two years thereafter

Direct Care Professionals support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. Responsibilities include providing assistance with daily activities and ensuring a structured routine that includes:

• Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments

• The movies
• Shopping
• Going to dinner
• Baseball game
• Bowling

Although not required, the agency encourages applicants with an interest in CNA, PCA, or HHA type work, and students in Human Services, Psychology, or Sociology programs. (Note that tuition assistance is offered.)
