Position Overview
Radiology Technologist position at Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA.

Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA
Hours:
24 flexible hours, 32 hours per week. Shift: Day shift – 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, or 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with weekend, holiday and on‑call rotation.

Pay rate determined based on level of experience.
Pay range: USD 35.00 – USD 55.00 per hour.
- $8,000 new‑hire sign‑on bonus (re‑hires who have been out of the role for more than 1 year also eligible)
Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager of Radiology Clinical Services or designee, perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within the assigned modality as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure requests. Obtain pertinent information from the patient’s chart and document all data within the EHR.
Educate patients for exams. Position patients and select appropriate imaging equipment and supplies. Identify, prepare and/or administer pharmaceuticals related to the exam/procedure. Select technical factors, parameters, and sequences to produce quality images. Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others and be aware of MR safety practices.
Assist physicians in performing procedures.
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and attainment of primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography within one year of eligibility.
- Current RT licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island (required based on location assignment).
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19 or be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement upon hire.
Every other weekend and holiday.
