Health Visitor Position – Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
Embark on an exciting and meaningful career journey as a Health Visitor, working closely with children, young people and families to support health, development and overall wellbeing.
We are looking for motivated, compassionate and forward‑thinking individuals to train as Health Visitors through the PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN Health Visitor) programme starting January 2027 via Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).

Training ProgrammeCommit to a 52‑week full‑time programme, including timetabled annual leave, with a 50/50 split between academic study and supervised practice within the Healthy Child Programme teams. Upon successful completion, you will be offered a Health Visitor post within the Trust.
Qualifications- Passion for public health, adopting a ‘think family’ approach to improve outcomes for children and young people.
- Current NMC registration, or eligibility to register as a newly qualified nurse or midwife before the course start date, and meet ARU academic entry requirements.
- Commitment to the full 52‑week programme and willingness to build a long‑term career within the Healthy Child Programme Services.
