Responsibilities
- Collect single‑use medical devices at hospitals within a designated territory, including operating rooms, patient floors, patient rooms, electrophysiology and cath labs.
- Engage with hospital personnel—OR staff, supply chain, environmental services, sales representatives, O.R. management, facility champions, and hospital administration—to provide customer service and train on Stryker Sustainability Solution’s bins and eligible devices.
- Partner with supervisors and sales representatives to build relationships and increase single‑use device collections.
- Participate in a positive culture and a respectful workplace through weekly huddles, annual in‑person meetings, and administrative communication.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the sales code of conduct and the Stryker Employee Handbook.
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with appropriate insurance; use of personal vehicle required (80–100 miles/day depending on territory).
- High school degree or GED.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary credentials at all hospitals within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency with computer programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerBI, and PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills—presentation, email, and phone—are required.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills for reporting receipt growth and collection tracking.
- Exert up to 60pounds of force daily, or up to 20pounds continuously; push/pull up to 60pounds continuously; lift up to 40pounds.
- Maintain near‑vision (corrected) color vision and visual acuity sufficient for detailed tasks.
- Perform mobility tasks—bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity—required for field work.
- Hourly rate: $23.74 – $32.12
USD. - Travel requirement: 50% of time on the road.
