About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our high-volume Cardiac Testing team. This is a direct-hire, full-time position designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to diagnostic excellence.
As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will utilize advanced non-invasive cardiovascular technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with complex heart and vascular conditions. The ideal candidate blends technical expertise—including 3D and strain imaging—with a compassionate bedside manner and the ability to articulate clinical findings clearly to our medical staff.
Responsibilities- Advanced Imaging:
Perform high-quality echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, utilizing 3D, AFI, and strain imaging techniques. - Clinical Analysis:
Evaluate heart function, chamber size, valve performance, and blood flow; provide comprehensive preliminary reports for physician review. - Diagnostic Support:
Review patient files to identify abnormalities in cardiac conditions and assist in specialized diagnostic procedures as required. - Patient Engagement:
Schedule appointments and explain procedures to patients with professionalism, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed. - Data & Equipment Management:
Maintain accurate electronic records within the EMR, process clinical reports, and ensure all ultrasound equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Certification:
Active registration as a Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI) is required. - Life Support:
Valid CPR/BLS Certification. - Experience:
3–5 years of relevant experience in a clinical cardiac setting. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and advanced ultrasound software. - Soft Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
