Case Worker

There is one full-time position available within the Intensive Treatment Residential Childhood Program for Cottage 8. The hours are flexible and based on the needs of youth and the program. This is a salaried position with a starting salary of $46,500.

• Serves as primary contact for families/guardians, DCF, and schools regarding treatment progress of caseload of youth
• Facilitates diagnostic and clinical assessments, including the CANS and comprehensive assessments
• Attends Individual Treatment Plan meetings
• Co-facilitates clinical and psycho-educational groups with the Program Clinician and psycho-educational groups within the milieu
• Provides support to milieu to ensure fidelity to the ARC framework
• Assists youth with the development of Behavioral Support and Safety Plans
• Coordinates and supervises family and guardian visits
• Assists with facilitation of intakes for the ER Programs

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field required
• Two years of human services experience required, preferably in a similar residential setting

• Demonstrate effective communication and documentation skills
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a strength-based manner to forge relationships with youth and families
• Demonstrate familiarity with the ARC and Wraparound principles and trauma-informed care
• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills
