• 1. Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
• 2. Gather s pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• 3. Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.
• 4. Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• 5. Promptly and properly completes exams, perform s QC on images and appropriately send s exams to PACS for the physicians to review.
• 6. Assists in maintaining an orderly inventory and in arranging the purchase of needed supplies.
• 7. Assists with other job
  -related duties including urgent exam requests and scheduling.
• 8. Under the direction of a Radiologist or Emergency Room Physician, performs CT exams using contrast media according to department policy and procedure s.
• 9. Will establish IV access for contrast injection according to department policy and procedure.
• 10. Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled to provide operational, administrative, or departmental support.
• 11.The float requirements only apply to UMass Memorial Nashoba Valley's newly hired staff

License/Certification/

Education:

• Required:
• 1. Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• 2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.
• 3. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• 1. Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting, collaborating with peers to product optimum results.
• 2. Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.
