School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Fall River, Massachusetts

In this role, you’ll engage with young learners, working collaboratively with educational professionals to ensure each child’s communication needs are nurtured and met. Compensation for this position ranges from $30 to $42 per hour, based on your experience supporting school-based speech-language services.

• Active SLPA license
• Experience with in school-based settings, particularly working with elementary and/or early childhood populations
• Strong understanding of communication disorders in children
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with implementing speech-language intervention plans designed by SLPs
• Organizational skills to maintain timely documentation

• Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with SLP-designed treatment plans
• Assist SLPs in screening, evaluating, and progress monitoring activities
• Support classroom teachers by implementing communication strategies and modifications
• Track student performance and accurately document progress
• Prepare instructional materials and adapt activities under SLP supervision
• Communicate effectively with staff and families about student needs and progress
