Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) position located in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role involves providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The position involves utilizing evidence-based practices to support patient recovery and progress within an outpatient setting.

• Schedule:
  
  Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license, active state licensure/registration when applicable, and a minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist Assistant experience, including long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience supporting patients with cognitive and/or physical disorders; familiarity with regulatory and clinical documentation requirements; ability to supervise and support students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
• Additional Information:
  Duties include administering treatment procedures such as activities of daily living retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices. Responsibilities also encompass assessing patient progress, communicating with the supervising Occupational Therapist, documenting all client interactions in electronic systems, and participating in team meetings, trainings, and conferences. The ability to assist in obtaining necessary durable medical equipment or supplies is essential.
  
  Candidates must adhere to NBCOT, American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and State practice acts, ethics, and code of conduct during practice.
