Recovery Specialist - Per Diem

Must be able to work 2-3 shifts a month.

$20.00 per hour plus shift and weekend differentials.

• Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30‑minute client well‑being checks.
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and recordkeeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Maintains a professional and therapeutic approach when interacting with clients.
• Participates with staff to implement program objectives and philosophy.
• Facilitates and documents daily groups.
• Attends supervision, trainings and meetings as required.
• Obtains/assesses vital signs (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, Respirations, Temperatures).
• Other duties as instructed by supervisor or as needed.

• High school diploma or higher educational level or general education degree (GED).
• Experience working with substance use population is preferred.
• Ability to display initiative, responsibility, accountability, and professionalism.
• Demonstrates commitment working with an addicted population, enjoys working as part of a treatment team.

Hourly Wage Range: $20-22
