The Role

The Beverage Supervisor is responsible for directing all activities of the beverage department.

Responsibilities
  • Direct all activities of the beverage department.
  • Conduct monthly inventory to ensure all alcoholic beverages are accounted for.
  • Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment per restaurant and catering operations.
  • Provide overall operational and financial responsibility of the beverage outlet.
  • Maintain the highest standards of beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager regarding beverage orders.
  • Develop the beverage menu.
  • Monitor beverage inventory and pricing daily regarding changes to restaurant bar menus.
  • Institute beverage training for the F&B team.
  • Conduct training on state and local beverage laws and regulations.
  • Provide a safe and reliable environment for customers and employees.
  • Possess a drive to provide exceptional customer service.
Safety and Compliance
  • Follow and encourage the team to follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the incident has been reported.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Food & Beverage and/or Restaurant experience preferred.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance.
  • Work independently or in a team setting to set up and execute an event.
  • Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations.
  • Effective listening and ability to take direction from management.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Make quick and accurate decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Delegate duties when necessary.
  • Remain calm in stressful situations while keeping a smile.
  • Perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods while maintaining professionalism.
  • Read, speak, and write English to interact with staff and guests.
Pay

$18–$22 per hour.
