Position: Hospital Valet Attendant (Part Time)

Overview

Hospital Valet Attendant.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 4 PM.

At this healthcare facility, the Valet Attendant is responsible for providing kind and empathetic service to all patients and visitors—welcoming them, assisting them out of their vehicles, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and sending them on their way with a fond farewell.

Beacon Hill Hospitality Valets are customer service professionals who strive to eliminate any anxiety associated with a hospital visit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Open vehicle doors, greet guests, and provide a warm welcome to each patient or visitor
Issue valet tickets
Promptly and safely park and retrieve cars
Maintain a clean working environment
Anticipate patients’ and visitors’ needs and go above and beyond when possible
Ensure the safe flow of traffic in the driveway/circle and direct traffic as needed
Assist with way finding
Keep the work environment clean, safe, and uncluttered
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities (including but not limited to)

Exceptional customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Ability to drive a manual transmission is preferred
Warm, friendly, and professional demeanor when interacting with staff, patients, and visitors
Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Problem-solving ability with the judgement to know when to ask for help
For insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age and have a clean motor vehicle record

Education and Experience

High school degree or equivalent
At least one year of related experience strongly preferred
