Payroll Manager

Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Manager to oversee and manage payroll operations for a workforce in Fall River, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position focuses on ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting HR-related initiatives and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling multi-state payroll systems.

Responsibilities:

- Process weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

- Oversee benefits administration, including coordination with providers and handling employee reimbursements.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll operations and maintain employee records.

- Collaborate on financial reporting tasks related to payroll and HR activities.

- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

- Support HR projects as needed, with a primary focus on payroll functions.

- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll requirements and regulations.

- Monitor and manage open enrollment processes for benefits programs.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll and tax laws to ensure adherence to standards.

Requirements

- Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management, preferably for over 250 employees.

- Proficiency in handling multi-state payroll processes.

- Strong expertise with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.

- Familiarity with benefits administration, including open enrollment.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively across departments, especially HR and finance.

- Bilingual skills are a plus, though not required.

- Solid understanding of payroll-related tax laws and compliance standards.
