KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner closely with the Chief People Officer to shape and execute enterprise talent, culture, leadership, and organizational effectiveness strategies, including preparation for and participation in Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors discussions.
- Partner with the CPO to assess, modernize, and scale people practices, processes, and programs to support COMPANY’S continued growth and evolving business needs.
- Lead, coach, and develop the HR Business Partner team, creating a high-performing function that delivers strategic business partnership, talent leadership, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and change leadership across COMPANY.
- Provide leadership for enterprise talent reviews, succession planning, organizational design, leadership development, workforce planning, and change management initiatives across COMPANY.
- Serve as strategic HR business partner to the U.S. Commercial and Medical Affairs leadership teams, providing counsel on organization design, leadership development, workforce planning, and capability build as COMPANY prepares for launch.
- Provide strategic oversight for COMPANY’S employee engagement strategy, ensuring effective survey execution, meaningful action planning, leadership accountability, and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen culture and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with senior leaders to define and implement people strategies that accelerate Commercial and medical readiness, ensure launch excellence, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
- Contribute to design and ongoing management of field-based compensation frameworks (led by comm ops), collaborating with Total Rewards, Finance, and Commercial Operations to ensure competitive, compliant, and performance-driving practices.
- Experience serving as a senior HR leader and trusted advisor to executive leadership team members in high-growth life sciences organizations.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing HR Business Partner teams and building organizational capability through others.
- Demonstrated ability to influence enterprise-wide talent, organizational, and cultural decisions through executive-level partnerships and strong business acumen.
- Experience leading employee engagement strategies and translating employee feedback into meaningful organizational action and measurable business outcomes.
- Additional COE experience is desired but not required.
- 14+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant HR Business Partner leadership supporting Commercial (Sales/Marketing/Access) and/or Medical Affairs functions in biotech or life sciences.
- Proven success supporting Commercial and medical affairs builds in the U.S., including design and implementation HR launch readiness plans.
- Experience leading organizational design, talent management, change management, and leadership development efforts in a high-growth or launch-phase environment.
- Enterprise thinker who balances strategic perspective with operational excellence and execution discipline.
- A trusted advisor who brings sound judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence complex decisions across all levels of the organization.
