Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: System Development Engineer, Amazon Robotics, QTS (Quality Technology Service)

Description
Do you ever wonder how the packages show up at your door when you ordered from Amazon? Amazon's global fulfillment business is one of the largest and most complex operations in the world. Our technologically advanced warehouses and a fleet of Robots are at the center. They form the invisible back half of Amazon that magically turns your click of a button into a product at your door.

Quality Technology Service is a key part of that solution, enabling the flow of inventory into and out of warehouses for a shipment. Are you ready for a challenge? Would you like to use your engineering or computer science background to optimize and solve complex problems? Are you interested in building and supporting robotics supply chain planning software at scale?

As a System Development Engineer, you will be responsible to build and support our next generation of supply chain planning (SCP) systems, work that includes scaling our systems to handle thousands of parts for procurement, planning and manufacturing. The System Development Engineer will design, develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize various automation solutions, while acting as an engineering leader for our internal/external engineering partner teams.

A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills are absolute requirements. Creating reliable, scalable, and high-performance services and architectures requires exceptional technical expertise. If you have that type of expertise, you enjoy working on complex system software, you are customer centric, and you are motivated about building systems that can be operated at global scale with minimal human intervention, then we want to talk to you!
