Litigation Systems Analyst.

Litigation Support. CGS is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team supporting a wide-ranging technical support initiative for a large Federal agency’s ongoing litigation efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Define system and project requirements based on information gathered from the COR, Government Case Managers, and trial staff.
  • Design entire systems to meet defined requirements, detailing functional and design specifications, systems design, programming specifications, data elements, data validation, data capture, and data conversion procedures.
  • Translate functional requirements into system designs suitable for development of computer programs. Test software, including preparation and use of sample data for testing purposes.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and oral presentations.
  • Develop systems documentation required in task orders.
  • Consult with Government staff and contractor teams to ensure understanding of objectives; identify problems and suggest improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership, direction, and supervision to lower-level personnel; may function as technical supervisor or team lead for a project.
  • Report progress to Government staff and superiors.
  • Provide user and technical documentation and training for systems developed.
  • Assist with data extraction from media received by the Bureau, manipulate data to CFPB standards, load data to databases, and conduct data intake and routing for processing as needed.
Qualifications
  • Substantial, hands-on experience in the systems being used, typically at least three years. Example: setting up interconnected Oracle databases in a UNIX environment, including designing, implementing, troubleshooting, populating, maintaining, documenting, and training users.
  • Experience with other systems environments and project requirements as applicable. Ability to analyze system requirements and translate them into a coherent system design.
  • Broad knowledge of the Government’s IT environments, including office automation networks and PC/server-based databases and applications. Supervisory or team-leader experience is useful.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in automated litigation support is helpful.
  • Experience with Relativity, Ready Suite (Compiled/KLDiscovery), and I-Pro eCapture is preferred.
  • An undergraduate degree is strongly preferred (computer science or information management/technology disciplines).
  • Onsite personnel certification such as Relativity Certified Administrator is preferred.
