The Amazon Robotics (AR) organization manufactures high‑quality robotics and gets the right materials to the right place at the right time to enable our automated solutions. It’s fast‑paced and works cross‑functionally with teams across Amazon globally. We are seeking a talented and motivated ERP Order Management & Logistics Systems Development Engineer with a proven track record of implementing best‑in‑class systematic and business processes within a complex supply chain environment.
This role will report to the manager of Business Application in the Robotics Software Services and technology team. The position will primarily focus on supporting applications in the Order Management and supply‑chain area. This role will work closely with manufacturing, supply chain management, finance, engineering, and other IT organizations. You will also play a key role in leveraging AI in the ERP ecosystem.
The Team
The Amazon Robotics (AR) Technology Enablement Services (TES) Team enables AR’s people, purpose, and place to deliver the future. We remove barriers, drive organizational productivity, and foster growth. We serve AR leadership, product customers, and employees, and collaborate with teams throughout FTR. We create a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace experience, designing and iterating on learning, development, and engagement solutions to support the needs of operators and employees.
We synthesize and articulate AR’s long‑term strategy, near‑term goals, product roadmaps, and workforce strategy. We develop and manage cross‑organizational mechanisms, reporting, programs, and sustainability efforts.
- 2+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) new and existing systems
- Experience working in a high‑pace Dev Ops environment
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
