People Incorporated is looking for a dynamic individual to join our IT team as a Desktop Support Specialist. This position is responsible for providing information technology support to the Agency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Coordinate the installation of new computers and peripherals.
- Replace desktop hardware as needed as well as basic laptop hardware.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and printer issues.
- Remove virus, spyware, and malware as needed.
- Install all software and hardware as required.
- Restore Windows software.
- Domain, Email & Intranet user setup and maintenance.
- Set up equipment for special events.
- Monitor and complete Agency IT Requests.
- Responsible for moving equipment as necessary.
- Maintain and run Network cabling as necessary.
- Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skill in office functions including but not limited to computer operations.
- Skill in organization, prioritization, and working independently.
- Skill in communicating and working with others cooperatively
- A driver's license as well as a qualifying criminal background check and driving record
