Job Description

Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for the most complex Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for the most complex first party homeowner claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as peer mentor and may assign direction to more junior employees, having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.

We are seeking an experienced Property Field Adjuster to join our Massachusetts Claims team! The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling a wide range of homeowner claims. Proficiency in Xactimate and Xact Analysis, along with the ability to confidently write detailed estimates, is essential. Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on the most complex 1st party homeowner losses of all severities
  • Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
  • Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
  • Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
  • Recommends process improvements

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is:

Field Adjuster Cons I: $53,500 – $77,800

Field Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 – $82,500

Field Adjuster Sr Cons I & II: $65,600 – $98,200

And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
