Supply & Inventory PlannerJob Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and operationally focused Supply & Inventory Planner to translate demand forecasts into executable supply, production, and inventory plans across multiple states and facilities.
This is a hybrid role responsible for:
- Inventory planning and optimization
- Production and supply planning
- Capacity alignment across cultivation and manufacturing
- Leading the supply side of the S&OP process
The Planner will partner closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and operational execution.
This role is critical to maintaining service levels, controlling working capital, and enabling scalable growth in a multi‑state, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities Supply & Production Planning- Translate approved forecasts into production and supply plans by state and facility
- Develop rolling supply plans aligned with capacity constraints
- Coordinate cultivation and manufacturing schedules to meet demand
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain inventory within target Days on Hand (DOH) ranges
- Monitor stockouts, aging, and excess inventory
- Adjust supply plans to optimize inventory health
- Ensure materials are available for all scheduled production runs
- Lead supply‑side planning for monthly S&OP
- Identify gaps between demand and supply and propose solutions
- Support scenario planning for promotions, expansion, and new product launches
- Partner with Purchasing on material requirements and lead times
- Coordinate with Warehouse & Logistics to ensure inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with Finance on inventory, COGS, and working capital
- Support new facility launches and market expansion

- 3–5+ years of supply planning, production planning, or MRP experience
- Experience in manufacturing, cultivation, or regulated environments preferred
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (modeling, scenario analysis)
- ERP/MRP system experience required
- Ability to manage complexity across multiple facilities and states
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Inventory is consistently within target ranges (no chronic stockouts or excess)
- Production plans are realistic, executable, and aligned with demand
- Supply risks are identified early and proactively managed
- Cross‑functional teams are aligned and not operating reactively
