Shift: 2nd Shift – Sunday to Wednesday, 12:30PM to 11:00PM

Base pay is $24.00 - $27.00 hourly, varying by experience, qualifications, and shift differentials. Additional pay: $2.75 per hour overnight shift (10PM – 6AM), $1.75 per hour evening shift (6PM – 10PM), and $1.00 per hour weekend shift. Eligible employees may also receive annual bonuses and incentive compensation.

• Accept calls and respond to dispatch or members with ETA to destination.
• Locate members, greet them, and manage their emotional state by providing reassurance and advice as appropriate.
• Assess the safety of the scene, ensuring the vehicle is in a safe location before providing service.
• Provide efficient minor mechanical assistance (e.g., battery boost, flat tire replacement) and towing service as needed.
• Diagnose probable causes of breakdowns by asking probing questions; determine best course of action.
• Follow safety procedures, club policies, and AAA towing manual guidelines.
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment in safe working order, conduct safety checks, and keep inventory of tools and products.
• Adhere to traffic and motor vehicle laws to avoid injury, accidents, and damage.
• Maintain a professional image to positively represent the AAA brand.
• Use the vehicle MDC computer to receive, update, and collect revenue through cash and credit card transactions.
• Safeguard confidential information and complete paperwork per club policies.
• Promote AAA products and services, educate members on battery replacement and alternative options, and coordinate with dispatch to guide members to their destinations.
• Work independently with minimal face-to-face contact with other service team members.
• Adapt to a variety of shifts to cover 24/7 operations.
• Prevent damage and injury by locating secure points and responding to changing vehicle dynamics.
• Operate effectively under pressure in busy traffic and weather conditions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Post‑secondary training in automotive mechanics with familiarity in electrical troubleshooting.

• Active and valid driver’s license issued by a single state or jurisdiction.
• DOT card pre‑hire and current employee within 1 year.
• Pass motor vehicle record check during pre‑hire screening and periodically during employment per policy.
