A growing life sciences organisation advancing a pipeline of therapeutic programs through development. With continued investment across technical operations and program execution activities, the company is expanding its project leadership capabilities to support ongoing growth and key development milestones.
The RoleReporting into senior leadership, the Director of Program Management will play a key role in coordinating technical development activities across multiple programs. This individual will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive alignment, visibility, and execution against project objectives.
Responsibilities- Lead program execution across technical development and operational activities
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and maintain integrated project plans
- Drive alignment across Technical Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain and other key functions
- Coordinate activities with external partners and service providers to support program objectives
- Identify project risks, resource constraints and critical path activities, implementing mitigation plans where appropriate
- Track progress against key milestones, budgets and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Support planning activities related to development, manufacturing and operational readiness
- Facilitate effective communication and decision‑making across teams and partners
- Maintain project documentation, timelines and reporting tools to support governance activities
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and project management best practices
- BS, MS or PhD in a scientific, engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry experience
- Proven experience leading complex development or technical programs
- Strong understanding of product development and operational execution within regulated environments
- Experience managing cross‑functional stakeholders and external partners
- Demonstrated project planning, risk management and organizational skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Experience utilizing project management tools and systems to support execution and visibility
